Was this a dumb trade?
I gave up a LeBron James SPGU gold #d/100 for a LeBron James spx dual jersey. The lebron i traded books more so i think its a bad trade. PLMK

Even tho you gave up more BV and a #'ed card, the SPX LBJ has twice the amount of jsy (and swatches are bigger than the SPGU). I think it's even tho. At least you are getting a card for your PC :)

IMO, it's only a dumb trade if you get something in return that you did't really want. You know how much you had invested in the card.
That's the way I look at it. If you bought the card for $100 and you traded it for a card that you can only get $60, then maybe. (Only if the $60 is something you really didn't want.)
But if your $100 card was a pull from a pack (let's say $5.) and you traded for a $60 card you wanted, then in my book, that was a good trade. Keep in mind, it's ONLY a $100 card because Beckett says it is.
A few years ago, on this site I think, I traded a Kyle Boller Patch card (it had the NFL logo from his jersey) for a box of 2002-03 Victory (Upper Deck) Hockey cards. I'm not a Boller fan and the guy really wanted the card so I traded him. I'm not a hockey fan. So I tried to trade the box of cards, no takers. I opened them and was 18 cards short of a set and had a # Gold card, several Silver Inserts cards. I tried to trade this, again no takers. Finally, I decided a year ago that I would try and complete the set. Now, I have the last 3 cards coming. It really is a beautiful set and I can probably trade it for more than the Boller card, but now I like it after having wheeled and dealed for the last 18 cards.
