NBA GTS -- Tuesday, Oct 28th, PREMIERE!!
Hello to all folks.....
and here comes opening night games of 2003-04 season (Shaq and Kobe are already bickering about who's shooting the balls, and who's opting out; I bet Payton and Malone are thinking to themselves: fark!, we gave up $25M combined to join this sh*t?!?!)
Rules for NBA GTS are same as for all other GTS:
1. guess the winning team
2. tiebreaker - guess the scores
3. if 2 folks are closest, then we go to more tiebreakers (established by Iggy in the original MLB GTS -- please see sticky threads)
100 CC for winning a GTS game; 125 if you're the winner, and you guess the exact score as well.
If there is a particular game playing the next night that you want to see featured here, send me a PM BY 9 pm PST the day BEFORE the game.
This first ever NBA GTS will feature 3 games (for the rest, I will only do 2)......
game 1: deadline 7 pm EST / 4 pm PST Tuesday sharp!!
Miami at Philadelphia
game 2: deadline 8 pm EST / 5 pm PST
Phoenix at San Antonio
game 3: deadline 10:30 pm EST / 7:30 pm PST
Dallas at LA Lakers
how will the Fabulous Foursome do in their opening night game? Will Kobe shoot every time he touches the ball?
BONUS TRIVIA (worth 25 CC)
1. which player in the games above will be the high scorer -
tiebreaker - how many points will he score
PLEASE NOTE: everyone can answer "Shaq", for instance. HOWEVER, once someone says "Shaq, 100 points" -- NO ONE else can put that answer in, as it's the unique combination, and the first person gets sole privilege of that answer.
So, please, I do not want PMs from 5 different folks who answer "Shaq, 100 points" and then claiming they deserve to win the CC. First contestant to put the player's name, and the points, gets sole rights to it.
Thank you
good luck to all....this is gonna be fun ----------lots of CC to be earned!
