    Oden signs with Topps

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/200...ritethru.0487/

Greg Oden has been drafted by a trading card company, and will be on the same team as Bill Russell.

A possible No. 1 draft pick, Oden signed a three-year contract worth at least $3 million Tuesday to become a spokesman for Topps Co. His first deal? A card featuring him and Russell, the Boston Celtics Hall of Famer, on the 50th anniversary of the company's first basketball set.

Durant, the freshman who starred at Texas, beat Oden in the card contract race when he signed with Upper Deck earlier this month.

Guess this means we won't be seeing a Greg Oden/Kevin Durant Dual Auto or Dual GU Patch anytime soon :icon_sad:.

Theres only one thing I cant stand more than UD, and thats Topps! I certainly wont be collecting Oden since he wont be on the Bucks, but I dont foresee myself pulling any autos or jerseys of him either since I wont buy very much Topps!

IMO though, Durant will be more highly sought after anywhase.

Cool. Thanks, for letting me know. :)

I was also hoping that there would be a dual auto of Oden/Durant. That would be a sick card.

Topps is harder to hit that UD but I definately like it better. UD stupid redemption crap had just flat pissed me off so I am glad to see someone signed with topps.
