How do I post a trader on here that renegged on a deal?

I have a problem with a trader on here that wont reply to PMs and he had promised several times to purchase cards from me. I have held cards for him for over a month. And he hasnt sent payment for the cards nor will he respond. How do I post him for nonpayment so others dont get the run around with him.

Iced, no I am not out anything but how would you like it if someone agreed to buy something from you and they never paid for the item? It is very frusrating and not how responsible honest traders should conduct business.

Then just tell him that you won't sell to him and be done with it.

You could also leave negative feedback.

Leaving negative feedback is not the route to go since no actual transaction took place.IMO,that would be wrong.I would send 1 more polite reminder that you still have the cards and if he/she was still interested in purchasing then they must reply by such and such a time or the offer is dropped.

I understand your frustration.I had a similar experience here with a trader that agreed to a trade. We agreed to mail the next day so I packaged the items and before heading out to mail them, they PM'ed me and told me they didn't want to trade because they decided to keep the cards.Well lo and behold,I notice a trade agreement on a different site involving the same cards I was getting from him being traded to someone else.

That said,I probably could have left a negative for him but since no one actually mailed anything, there was only an agreement but no transaction. The deal was ended so feedback was not appropriate by either party.

It seems that in your case, the individual has either decided he didn't want the cards any longer or it slipped their mind (it happens) or financial pains have crept up on them.Yes,they should have let you known but in this case,I would drop it and move on because of lack of interest.I wouldn't lose any sleep over it cuz someone else may want them.

    Just my 2/100 worth.

You are not allowed to post negative comments about another trader on the boards. We believe in the feedback system and prefer feedback be left after a trade takes place. However if you do have an agreement on the board in a thread and the other trader refuses to complete the trade it is your option to leave feedback. However I do agree with knight. ;)

That is why I havent posted this persons name/ or ID. I apprecaite the feedback. It just really irks me that this person has asked repeatedly for me to hold cards for him, and twice say "when I get money next week I will pay for the cards". And when I ask him 2 weeks later if he has sent the money, he doesnt even have the courtesy to tell me yes or no. I have PMed him and left posts under his topics asking for a answer, with no response. What bothers me even more, I had sold this person stuff before at a pretty cheap price to do him a favor, and even offered to get him a few FREE Autos of his favorite player (my sister wrote a book about Baseball in Mobile, AL, and alot of the players in the book are coming to a party Jan. 15 when the book debuts, Players like, Ozzie Smith, Hank Aaron, Willie McCovey, Juan Pierre, Luis Gonzalez, Jake Peavy etc.). ANd this guy cant email me one way or the other just to let me know? I understand I am not out anything, but I dont think anyone would appreciate to be left out in the cold not knowing. another thing is, what if I go ahead and trade or sell the cards I am holding and then I receive the money from him? I JUST WANT TO KNOW

In response to your question,if it has been that long and no response or payment,I would venture to say it isn't going to happen. That is also why I stated to drop them 1 more polite e-mail and if no response is given,go ahead and trade or sell them.If the money is received after that, then send it back to them expalining what you have posted here and about your last e-mail or PM.If they do respond and ask that you to hold them even longer,it's up to you,but I would state that there is no more holding and you must be paid by XX/XX/XXXX.

    * I know this is OT but if those are going to be at that party,ya think the "Wizard" would sign a card for me? I would love to have a signed card of Ozzie I could frame. If not, that's ok,just thought I'd ask and see what I need to do to get one signed*
