    1989 Fleer Retail Box

Busted this today, all wax packs - 36x15, 540 cards. Not too many great rookies from '89: Johnson, Griffey, and I believe Smoltz. Pulled a johnson and griff in the same pack and that was all I really got, was fun seeing all the old players for 15$ as well as the old style packs. Sheffield rookie x2 and Billy Ripken blacked out bat (no F**** FACE written on bat knob) and the RJ rookie has the marlboro blacked out. Guess I got a later box, but w/e. Pulled over 400 bases so LMK what you need - I'll pull out teams, players, whatever.

It's a great classic set - don't forget the Sheffield Rookies! Also there are variations and the Billy Ripken "Rick Face" error - did you get any of those? The set had a TON of errors and variations - Look for the Jeff Treadway with the target over his head AND Randy Johnson with the Marlboro sign in the background - if it's not blacked out it's worth 75 dollars - there are some high dollar variations in that set, make sure you know what to look for!

that being said, I have a 1989 Fleer box of Rack Packs for sale or trade if anyone is interested!

Completely forgot to mention that, I'll edit the first post too. Got the sheff rookie and blacked out bat on the rick face -- was disappointed but looks like its still fetching a little on the bay.
