airbrushing in recent years/sets

in the 04 heritage set,the dmitri young card(new logo)shows a bat on his
right shoulder.on the old logo variation the bat has been airbrushed out.
thought that sort of thing went out years ago? are there any other examples of this having been done in recent years?

02-03 Stadium Club in basketball airbrushed many cards to show players in the updated uniforms, including Michael Jordan in a Wizards uniform.

I know 2006 Topps baseball airbrushed some players that changed teams. There was an Aaron Rowand in a Phillies uniform swinging a bat during a game(came from the White Sox) and spring training didn't even start yet. I think there was also a Frank Thomas in an A's uniform before spring training. I'm sure there were others for new acquisitions as well but those 2 stand out in my head right now.
