what would you have done
went to walmart yesterday trying to see if they had anymore topps dpp which they didn,t,but while looking for cards i noticed there were a bunch of cards of donruss gridiron gear already opened and just laying on the counter, obviously this pack searcher either got spooked or didn,t care for rookie cards, there were 3 cards i found, this is what they were.
david thomas rookie 131 numbered 449/599
ernie sims rookie 146 numbered 514/599
daniel bullocks rookie 126 o gold parallel numbered 015/100.
i,ll tell you what i did after i find out what most people would have done take care spuds

I know what you did. You did the same thing I would do. Returned them to Customer Service and they allowed you to keep them because you were so honest. Well that last part probably didn't happen but the rest did.
I will be watching this post, so no rabble rousing, people.

hey chaos partially right i went to a manager who was right by me and told him about the opened cards,i offered to pay the 2.99 pack price but he said he couldn,t sell opened cards like that, but he said if i was buying something else to just take them as the store couldn,t do anything with them,so i bought a 2006 leaf r and s blaster for 9.99,out of which the best i pulled was a jake delhomme longevity parallel numbered 195/199 but hey i already knew i was getting those 3 other cards so i can,t complain take care spuds

I hate seeing that. I recently saw a guy just slitting the sides of the packs to check for GU. I have seen a few decent cards laying around at stores as well. I usually just leave them there. That was pretty cool of the manager to let you take them.

what,s really disturbing is that these pack searchers have no clue anymore,if it,s not a gu or autograph they just throw the rest of the cards down like they are garbage, this is not the first time i have seen decent cards just laying in the card section opened, but i usually just leave them there because i don,t feel like going through the hassle and possibly being accused of opening them myself, but this time a manager was right there and he knew i didn,t open anything as i was just looking at the unopened blaster boxes.i really think they should just start putting everything behind glass cabinets it,s getting out of hand.take care spuds
