fortunately one was the jamarcus russell refractor the other was the moss refractor, the other 4 cards are the same ones i sent what would you guys do,i was really hoping for the bush xrc to be replaced.i don,t feel like mailing these 4 cards back and spending another 2 bucks on postage and handling,i could call them but i really don,t know if it,s worth it suggestions needed guys thanks take care steve

I would say that the others are easy enough to replace without going thru the hassle. if you need those cards for a set, I have doubles of all the one that Topps didnt replace. lmk

hey thenext54 thanks but i do have the cards they didn,t replace anyway but that,s not the point if i spend money on postage and handling to replace 6 damaged cards and they only replace 2 i just paid an extra dollar for nothing.
elgato they didn,t even give a reason for not replacing the other 4 cards just the standard topps letter explaining you can return up to 25 damaged cards for replacement yada yada yada, and if you guys notice when you get those customer service letters from topps nobody that works there ever signs them it,s always blank where it says customer service rep, which to me is a crock, because i would have liked to know who gave me the jon papelbon replacement autograph so i could thank them,if a person does a good job i will give them their props and tell you guys so,but if someone is trying to be lax and pull a fast one i will also let you guys know, enough of my rant,it,s all good at least i got the jamarcus russell refractor in mint condition take care spuds.

Topps is getting pretty freaking bad with their attitude. They don't seem to care about the people that is buying thier product. I haven't been impressed with them in a while. I almost hope they are bought by UD.

I have a nightmare going with Upper Deck. They have simply refused to replace about $500 BV of cards. They returned them to me in worse condition than when they were sent.
With nearly any other consumer product the manufacturer is expected to either replace defective product or provide a refund. I am not sure why none of the basic consumer protection rules do not apply to card companies. Probably because no one has really pushed the issue and they continue to get away with it.
Here are a few possible options:
1. Stop purchasing their product. (yeah right)
2. File complaints with the BBB where they are located.
3. Always post your customer service horror stories on every forum.
4. Find contact info for corporate management and call and email.
(Upper Decks public relations director info is on the web)
5. File a local small claims suit for the amount of product they will not replace
6. File complaints with various consumer protection groups.
Please post any other ideas you may have.
THanks
Tom

You're telling me that Topps & Upper Deck will replace beat up cards with brand new ones?
Why didn't anybody tell me this before I sold my Walter Payton rookie that looked like a dog chewed it?
OK....I realize they prolly only replace current product, but what are the rules about this & how do I do it?
any info is appreciated...
Thanks!!!

hey chaos yea topps customer service is hit and miss lately i,ve had more success in baseball cs than football cs with topps
elgato some great suggestions there and come wednesday when i start my week off i will start exploring some of those options thanks steve.
redgonewild you just package the cards and send them to topps customer service, but the kicker is sometimes they,ll ask you for the receipt and the wrappers from the packs or if you bought a box the box top serial number hope that helps take care steve.
