OPINIONS needed on Donruss/Playoff
Hey guys, I have a couple card I need to send to Donruss/Playoff because of damage. Has anyone done this lately or in the past and what can expect as far as getting back what I send and turnaround time.I emailed them at the Don/Play site and got a quick reply by email so thus far its pretty smooth sailing, just want some of my fellow SCF members opinions so please LMK what you think, BTW, these are the cards
06 Leaf Limited Leinart jsy/auto /100 (slight damage)
07 Prestige Reggie Wayne patch 9/25 (terrible damage pulled from back by my son~ edge of card has a nasty foil bubble that is just rediculas it was pulled from a pack this way)
07 Elite Caddy jsy...not damaged, I bought a box and there was two of this same card, one /175 and one /99....still a let down for $105 a box!
like I said, I just want a little input if anyone has done this before, thanks for the long read!

You can expect about a month or more turn around. I am still waiting on a nine card replacement request from March. When I call them they say next week but they never come.
For most of the cards that they have replaced nearly all of them have been substitutes. If they do not have a specific card they try to substitute something of comparable BV.
At least they send something. Upper Deck just says we are out of stock and sends nothing with a screw you note.
Good luck.

elgato- thanks for the reply and your comments, I really don't care what they substitute for the Caddy, and the Wayne is my son's he'll be easy to please, but the Leinart is the one I worry about the most, I don't want a Joe Klopenstien in return or something like that

Donruss is really good Dan. I had an 11 card request, some were even 4-5 year old cards, they replaced them all, I got some nice cards in return (Most were not the same I sent in though). I got them back in a bit over 2 months, but I was happy. Im getting another package ready for them soon. I just send them bulk so I save them, and me, postage.

so you don't think its probable I get the same Leinart card back? if not I hope its something decent in return, do you always have the wrappers and receipts they request from you? I have the box upc but I never get receipts from the hobby shop, and I busted it at home and trashed the wrappers...oh well

Consider shipping with delivery confirmation. This will give you proof that they were received and is well worth 65 cents if they are "lost"

I am not sure if they can answer stock questions but it may be worth calling about the Leinart. (817) 983-0203
I have never sent receipts. One time they replaced two Longevity rookie jerseys with base jerseys. I sent them back with a note and they sent two rookies.

Donruss has usually been good. I did wait 6 months once but that is the longest.
