UConn is fielding a decent team this year. What are they 8-3/7-3 something like that? Too bad there isn't a bowl spot for them. They really deserve one just like South Florida did last year. Just more of a reason to hate bowl tie-ins.

This team is drastically improved from the last few years. Looking at some of the other teams that will end up with bowl bids they deserve it. The Sun Belt isn't exactly gonna turn out a team as good as UConn. I remember in 2001 when North Texas went to the New Orleans Bowl with a 5-6 record only because of the Sun Belt's auto bid to the game.
