allow me to jump in on the ebay chatter.

I've used eBay since 1997 and have had an ebay store for 2 and a half years. I agree that there are fakes and damaged cards on eBay but 90% is a tad too high in my opinion. I do sell way more than I buy, but if you do a little research you are more than likely going to be ok and not end up with a fake. I'm sure fakes exist on this site, naxcom, as well as at shows.

eBay does charge fees, but look at all that you get with these fees. if you are smart about listing, you can list your stuff for 40¢ or maybe around $1 if you want to add some extras. Bottom line is, eBay traffic is second to none. I don't know how many people hit naxcom a day, but I'd guess that way more people hit the card section of Ebay daily than naxcom. Plus you could get a lot of people that don't really know the card market that well. Maybe gift buyers that will never come across naxcom.

everyone has there reasons for not using ebay...a bad experience or what have you, but the bottom line is, there are thousands of reputable dealers that sell on eBay as well as millions of collectors that are honest. You just have to look into what you are buying.

I hate paying ebay fees, but the benefits of having stuff on their site is worth it because they bring the traffic.

isn't an 8 considered nrmint? I'm not too knowledgable of what the numbers technically grade, but I was thinking that was the case.


as for why you can't sell you stuff, I didn't look at our trade, but some stuff just has to be sold in lots and moved to the next guy trying to flip it.

I have to say for me that I like to only trade for something I want. I get some cards as gifts or for myself. I don't get cards for tradebait. I have never wanted a Maurice Jones Drew Gu or auto or any other ESPN highlight player. If you want a player that I have FINE! I will trade but being that I am picky I won't trade JUST to trade. I have searched A LOT of buckets with nothing in them. I am not interested in how much you will trade in my favor(ie your trading up) if you do not have a card that I am interested in
