My Notre Dame PC...How Can I Improve?

Hey guys, just wanted to share my Notre Dame Collection...Current Book Value is Over $1,500.00. Just taking suggestions/compliments on how I can improve this., Thanks for looking. Anyone else have a College PC? I also collect ND Hoops, but have not listed them or the cheaper cards. These are just the #'d Rookies, Patches, and Auto's.

Yeah go Irish!!! great collection you got going there...I collect Stovall also...hopefully Stovall gets some more playing time this year because he plays for my favorite NFL team too haha..well good luck with you collection and GO IRISH!!!!

I have a University of Colorado Collection - great to see another college collector :)

I'd love to hear your strategies on how you're improving your collection!

Here are some things I've tried:
1) Buy a college lot/player lot on ebay - usually works well - but you get a lot of duplicates, cards you may already have, and you don't usually get any really nice cards
2) Post player have lists - sometimes it makes it easier for traders to see if they have something you don't... especially once your list starts to get longer
3) Make sure as many traders as you can know that you collect ND players... that way when they get a nice pull they contact you first. There are several traders out there that have player/team collector databases that you can add yourself too and make sure you post to the forum here.
4) Develop trading relationships - your trader friends will start finding you cards when they trade too - one of the best ways I've found
5) Sticking with the trader relationship theme... I've gotten to the point with a trader that collects Nebraska (I know... yuck!) where we accumulate cards for each other and send once in a while. It took place over the course of several years... but I don't even look at BV's anymore - we just send packages once in a while - I've gotten some great cards from him.
6) Another strategy I've tried recently is to search ebay for my player names in lots (make sure you check search "title and description"). Then I buy lots on ebay. I get my player and then I use the extra ones in the lot for tradebait (or you can always try to resell what's left on ebay). That's seemed to work well - especially with the more recent players
7) You can always buy your players straight up at card shows, ebay, card stores, etc.
8) Constantly scan posts for your players names and work trades as you can (don't forget to get cards for other traders that you develop partnerships with)
9) Buy trade bait lots or rip packs & open hobby boxes. Hope you get one of your players and use the rest to trade.
