Think he starts. So far nothing from commis on it. Thou PETA is now on the Ban Vick bandwagon. No one wants to upset a superstar till its clear he is guilty. But under the new policy this has brought nothing but a bad light on the nfl again. So I ask the question again. Guilty or not why hasn't the commissioner handed down any kind of punishment.

The NFL is fine...i think this is actually a relatively small issue as it affects the NFL...compare this to the NBA ref who was involved in sports betting on games he was involved in...or steroids in MLB...and the NFL will gladly take small individual cases...this will be handled...he just got indicted 3 days ago...the NFL and roger are waiting till more information comes out and it is being rumored that, they and the Falcons are talking to somehow force Michael Vick into a leave of absence.
People ripped the NFL for acting too soon on Pacman as he wasnt found guilty...Now people are ripping them for waiting for the process to play out....something will be done here...by the NFL and by the Falcons organization...its too big of a story and affects too many of their fans and sponsors for them to not...however...I think if you swap the stories...Pacman involved in Dogfighting...and Vick involved in strip clubs/gangs...Pacman would have already been suspended...and Vick would have probably just been fined...i agree with you the superstar factor plays into it...but I also don't think the NFL needs to Jump on this right away...think it out and get it right.
Vick will not play this year...whether that be a suspension or leave of absense...

I just think they need to play it fair across the board. Of course that not clearly happening. As for it being a big deal it is a crime and it not like it local it FEDERAL so I would say it big
I agree it not big news as the Ref betting on games as it gives a sense that the games could be fixed. Of course if it happens in one sport it can happen in any.
p.s. Will be interesting to see what indictments rack up when the paper and court go to work. Of course that could take years with stalling tatics, retrials, etc.

But with Pacman it was he was just arrested a couple of times. But at the time of his suspension no charges were yet brought. Vick was federally indicted!!!!!! He was arrested by federal authorities!!!!!! Not local police, lets not forget his incident at the airport and his water bottle. Not arrested but made the news just the same. Michael like his brother Marcus think they are somehow above reproach. Maybe now he'll get the message loud and clear your only loved till you do something wrong!!!!!

If he's guilty, I hope he never plays again. He should be lucky to get out before he's 70.

LOL well they say he can face up to 6 years in prison and up to $35,000 in fines. So pretty sure he'll be out before his 70th bday! But he helped torture and kill animals for pleasure and profit. 70 sounds like a nice age to get out of jail.

Whether Vick starts or not. I think this will be a MAJOR distraction for the Dirty Birds. theyre gonna go in the tank early & often. maybe Shockley will start in his place.
