Exclamation How do I spot the reprint 1952 vs. 1983

I have a Gene Hermanski Topps #16. Beckett lists it as 1952 -$60 or 1983 reprint $0.50. I do not see anything on this card that would indicate a reprint. Can someone tell me what the 1983 reprints have that distinguish them from the originals?

I also tried to google this info, but was unsuccessful.

    Thank You

I know what to look for in modern cards, and I am assuming that the 1983 copyright has the date. This card, however, does not have a copyright date. next to the copyright symbol is T.C.G., no date anywhere on the card.

Can you post a scan of the back?

I know there are a few reprints, Topps say "Reprint series" it's Fritch's that throw me.

    A real reverse

A site that contains some very good Reprint/Fake information. Just not these 52's in particular.

    Just incase....

    Standard cards are 2-1/2 x 3-1/2"

    Original 52's- 2 5/8" x 3 3/4"(I believe through 57's)

    thanks

between the info provided and my own knowledge, I think I have the original '52 card. It is 2 5/8" X 3 3/4". No copyright date, and nothing to indicate reprint.

    Thanks for your help.
