    Some sad news

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/news/2003/0511/1552196.html

"Dallas Cowboys running back Ennis Haywood died Sunday, a day after being placed on life support with an undisclosed illness. He was 23."

I wonder what the cause of death was?

I bet it was a pulmonary embolism, probably a blocked artery, or a huge blood clot. He threw up in his sleep. Sounds like the aforementioned.

Wow... I hadn't heard that yet. I don't see him on their roster at all though... was he a practice squad guy?

    That's true.

Iggy - he was on the practice squad. Signed four days before his death. What a shame.

Hopefully it wasn't any nutritional supplement.

what's worse is that he and his wife have a child and she is expecting another on the way soon.

    very sad.

And, no news yet on cause of death as of 4 pm PST. Watched ESPN but didn't hear anything.
