Just FYI, the ESPN FFL is pretty cool, I'm the commish of a league there for 4 years now, and they have options for keeper leagues. Very easy set-up, and you can set all your scoring/Rules/line-ups....etc

you know what would be really interesting and fun...if we got a bunch of guys all with aim and all with a bunch of time...we could do an auction draft on IM...I have only done one auction in the past and it was pretty awesome...it would be cool to do it with guys on here...just an idea tho

Irish (and everyone else) - i have actually done some more looking into the 3 sites. although nfl.com has a great online draft, you are mostly locked into default settings and have no actual set ups for keeper leagues. yahoo allows for complete control over roster spots, scoring, league format, etc....however, also doesnt have an actual set up for keeper leagues. espn, despite my past experiences with their drafts, seems to be the most user friendly....i have complete control over rosters, scoring, division set up, playoffs, etc AND also keeps all of your keeper league info (it will keep all of the stats / info from the previous years). i did come up with a way to run a keeper league on the other two, but would be done on a year to year basis and no stats / info would be "carried over" from the previous year. at this time, my personal opinion is to either use yahoo or espn.
dizzle - auctions are awesome for local leagues. it is very hard to do auctions online as a commish or an owner....just a pain to keep up with salaries, team rosters, available players, etc when you dont have everyone sitting around with a "BIG BOARD"....man i love those big boards though!! thanks for the input but just dont think it would work.
eagles - pm sent buddy
looks like we got a nice mixture of people to get the ball rolling, so here is what i need: looking for a few opinions on which site you would prefer (espn or yahoo)
i have already set up the leagues on all three sites so as soon as we decide passwords are ready and you can create your teams!! the draft will be either august 18th or 19th (saturday / sunday) in the late afternoon or early evening est (dependant on which site we use)
we are probably looking at a 12 team league (give or take) with VERY deep rosters so start doing your homework!!
still looking for 4-5 more dedicated owners!!
thanks for your interest guys and look foward to your opinions on which site to use!!
