12 Pack Football Variety Box From Target - NEED HELP!
Okay, so I read about how people are pulling these good signed cards out of these things from Target. So I went today and bought a 12 pack variety box of football from Target. Now here's where I'm lost...
I open it up, and there's only 6 packs? I have yet to smoke my crack for the day so I'm of sound mind when I say 6 packs doesn't equal 12 packs. Am I right on thinking this? I want to take it back to Target but I opened all the packs. I don't know if they'll take it back. All I really want is an exchange though.

LOL
I don't think so Iggy.
You can see the 12 packs in the box. They are all viewable through the clear plastic.
So I don't know how you could pick a box with only six.
Hell the front and back 4 packs equal eight and that's more than what you got.
Do you shop with a blindfold on???Selling all my cards here updated as of July------------> Hidden Content

No, the front shows 6 packs... I just figured there were another pack behind each one making a total of 12. This sucks... they better do an exchange for me!

If the front only shows 6 packs then you bought the wrong box.
In fact the Target in my area doesn't even sell those 12 pack boxes.
Only Kmart and TRU.
Its a silver box that has 4 on the front, 4 on the back, 2 on the left side, and 2 on the right side.
I think you bought something different.

If I had my phone I'd take a pic of the box and send you it. It clearly states several places on the box "12 Factory Sealed Packs". The box is a little different from those other boxes that you're referring to that Target usually sells. It's not the size of a normal box. Putting it up to my Mead 5 Star notebook (I just happened to throw the box ontop if it) the box of cards is bigger than the notebook.
The front has 6 windows and shows 6 different packs. No where else on the box is there windows.
Now I am uber pissed... I took it back to Target and all was well. The chick was like go see if we have another one over there so we can do an exchange. So I go over, thewy have 1 left, and I bring it back to the exchange. the chick who was waiting on me had since moved on to another woman. So now I got a different girl working there and had to explain everything all over again. She told me since it was opened and it's from a vendor that she couldn't accept it as a return.
Needless to say I was quite pissed right now. I tried my best to hold in my anger because it wasn't really the woman's fault they wouldn't take it back. So I ask well what can I do? She gave me an 800 number to call (Target customer service) to explain things to them to try to get resolution.
Of course I took my phone back to Verizon today because I was having trouble with it. I have no home phone because I have no need for it. So now, I'm stuck with a 12 pack box that only came with 6 packs and a phone # to call that I can't call since Verizon has my phone untill tomorrow. Add to that I'm missing a Pitt preseason basketball game because instead of going to the game, I tried to get a new box in exchange.
Even though I tried holding in my anger, I did slip. When the lady gave me the phone #, I asked her what could I do if they don't help me. Her reply was I don't know... when at that point I said "This F-ing Sucks!"
I pity the person that has to talk to me when I get my phone back tomorrow because I am prob gonna wigg out.
I don't get this "vendor" crap though. Target is acting like they're the first business to ever use vendors. If you open up a flat bottle of Pepsi and return it to a store, they don't tell you they can't accept it since it's from a vendor & it's opened. What kind of bull™™™™ is that?!?! Oh Target will be hearing from me tomorrow. The saga continues...

Its probably because of all the dishonest people who steal, feel, and open card packs in the store.
Over the years the policies at places like Kmart have changed where you can't even return a box that WASN'T opened because of all the crap that's been happening.
They use to have packs in opened boxes at Kmart. They were right in front of the office desk. Somebody opened all of them and then must have taken out the good cards. Now they don't sell anything but sealed boxes.

Always follow your first instinct..LOL the Topic of the above thread. j/k
Because it's labeled 12 packs, you will get help, as long as it's not a.... your word against theirs(if so...keep asking for a superior)
You should have plenty of proof because "I'm guessing" there's only 6 glue spots instead of 12 to hold the packs.
IMO, The Cust. Svc person should have exchanged yours because of that fact.....Misrepresentation, or false advertisement!!
Did that other box you were going to exchange for have 12 packs

Rich, the window shows 6 packs. So you couldn't tell in the other box if there were another 6 packs under.
I called the 800 number today since I got my cell back. They hooked me up right away. They called the closest Target by me, had them hold one, and told them I would be in to exchange it and to not give me any problems. She also said that for my troubles they'd mail me some certificates... whatever the hell that means.
I only went against my word on the retail thing because of the autos in these. I had heard about people pulling these great auto's so figured what the hell.
