Exclamation Should I get it autographed or not?

I have a 2005- 2006 Topps Finest Gold Superfractor 1/1 Mike Bibby. I have gone alround to several card shops asking if getting this card would increase the value or decrease the value. basicaly half of them say it goes down the other half says it goes up. I need opinions.

I've tried it very rare if you can find one on there. I saw one once for $150. but otherwise I haven't seen any others yet.

Getting a card autographed that was not released that way is considered to be lowering its condition. Basically that destroys the intrinsic value of the card and leaves it with only the value of the signature itself. That's why it's better to use crappy base cards for in-person autos.

don't get the 1/1 auto'ed. Use base cards for that. And if you are going to get the auto COA'ed, send it to PSA, they're the best at authenticating collectibles like IP autos.
