    If you would have gone to usps.com, you probably would have gotten your answer faster. Each additional ounce is $0.17. If you get an envelope thicker than 3/4 of an inch or if the envelope is larger than 9x12 (I think) it is then considered a package and then goes parcel post which starts at $1.13. So to answer you question, 2 ounces would be $.97 thus you can only send up to 1 once with 2 first class stamps. The post office has stamps of different values so you can get exactly what you'll need instead of wasting money just using first class stamps that don't take you to the exact amount needed.
