I've seen Durant on two occasions live, once in December in the John Wooden Classic in Phoenix and once this past weekend in Vegas with Team USA. I said before this weekend I would have drafted him before Oden. Now I firmly believe it. He is absolutely unbelievable with how easily the game comes to him. A great rebounder, shotblocking Center that scores 14 points a game won't draw that much attention, but an all-star wing that pours in 30 occasionally will. This guy is unreal, and I hate Texas basketball :-)

but i think they needed to take oden first because they needed a big man! kevin durants good but oden has been the most scouted player maybe ever! and he is good he can block shots rebound and score too!

That doesn't mean you pass on Carmelo Anthony because you have plenty of scorers and take Darko Milicic :-)

lol that was one of the worst moves in the history of the draft i don't now y they passed on carmelo that was stupid! kevin durant is a good player but u have to remember they made two top ten picks i think and thats y i feel like he want have that good of a year! portland has alot of young talent on their team like the 2nd overall pick last year! and then they have brandon roy and and daruis miles and
channing frye and some more guys i think they will have a great season!

Portland really didnt need a Center though, did they? They got Aldridge in last years draft, and he was a top 5 pick, right?

Overall, Durant will turn out better. I saw Oden play a few times, I just wasnt that impressed. Hes big, but his game needs to step up.

Durant all the way. He can do anything ha. Can oden dribble, shoot like durant? Durant can rebound to. I think oden is just the big man down low kind of guy. Durant can do anything..
