This guy is unreal, why do they let these idiots write for a newspaper anyway?? He actually is condoning the killing of dogs because it's a "status" measure. He compares it to how he used to wear "big" chains back in the day.

Then he says the media is just all over this because it's only baseball season, and there is not much to cover. Yeah, it's a conspiracy against Vick, they should stop picking on the poor guy.
"So Falcons fans better pray for Vicks freedom, because Joey Harrington is the backup". Classy remark big guy!!
But the best is how he ends the article:
"God bless and God willing I’ll hollah at you next week."

Yeah, I'm Mr. religious, but it's cool to torture/kill/maim animals!!!

I am not sure he is condoning it but saying that Vick is a victim of the Man and circumstances outside of his control.

To tell you the truth I would rather save an animal than a human most of the time. Time for Michael to pay the piper. Whether it's the Man, the results will be now or if it's God and it will be eternal.

deion admits vick is wrong, stupid, and immature, note to NFL---this is the kinds of people you are throwing millions at. you need to get better tests.

BUT---peta and the aspca are preserving their incomes by supposedly protecting amimals by neutering and finding them homes, instead of putting them down humanely.
they believe in the humane treatment of animals--beef cattle, fish, pigs, sheep, come to mind. ask the dolphins and all the animals in zoos if they think captivity is humane.

I can see where Deion is coming from but I am apart of the bias opinion who supports the Vick Idictment. Just finished a critical thinking class a week ago. learned alot about the differences of values in the US.

What I got from the Article....is that the Man (US Govt) and the laws are bias although this value is held by the majority.

Do we regulate and bring to justice the people of different religions who kill and slaughter Goats and pigs for their religion or kill dogs to eat them. Thats not against the law and who is to decide a dog is any better than a goat or a pig. I had a pop belly pig as a pet growing up and would prefer a pig over any dog. (Although my wife wont allow it). Who is to say religion is ok and entertainment isnt. The majority says so, so it is law. Sucks to be the minority of anything in the US. The US will never get rid of discrimination because minorities of anything (Values, race, gender, social status) are never treated the same.

Cruilty of any form in my opinion is wrong, and I'm not all that fond of animals. To kill just to kill, or to torture for fun is just wrong. Sickos' that do that to our families, our children, or to animals should be locked up for a very long time, or destroyed themselves to prevent further such acts.
If you see your child kicking an animal just because they can, wouldn't you tell them to stop and discuss the reasons its wrong? Well, what makes Michael Vick any different? He is an adult and SHOULD have the COMMON SCENSE to know its WRONG!
Dog fights, ™™™™ fights or any fight that is considered "SPORT" should have rules to protect the fighters. If they were human you bet there would be rules to stop the fight and protect life.. what makes these animals any different? "Sport" souldn't mean cruelty to the loser, or tortured to death.
We need to reset the moral standards to whcih the world thinks! How long can we blame the wrongs on "Religion, Culture or the ignorance of man?" We need to start taking responsibiltiy for our actions and stop passing the blame.
Lets tie up Vick and kick him, beat him and slam him to the ground for fun .. That doesn't seem humane does it.. so what makes this fun and humane for an animal? It doesn't... Forget the Football aspect of this, think of the consequences on humanity if this is allowed to continue unpunished.

I thought it was a very good article. And I agree with him 100%. Its sad that as a society we view the well being of a dog over the well being of a child.

What Vick allegedly did is very wrong, but like Deion said, he's probably not the ring leader. I'm not sure if there is an investigation going on to find out who the ring leader was, but I really hope there is and he gets time a lot worse than Vick.
