    Group Breaks Banned?

The mods, or at least one mod, have stated their intent to squash any group breaks in the future. I'm not sure why this is necessary, but I personally enjoyed partaking in group breaks and think they should be allowed to continue.

Please go to the Announcement forum off the main page to read the post and weigh in if you so desire. Thanks.

I don't believe they are banned, but I think they now require the user to have at least 50 feedbacks, and consent from the mods. Hopefully we can still finish the two breaks that were already posted on the site (originals and sterling), but we will see.............

is the 50 feedback to make sure you're not scamming anyone? haybierman doesn't have 50, and his breaks have been great...i think that if he was going to scam someone, it would have been for the gehrig on the first break, but i received it.

alright, thanks for clarifying enigma. Looks like I am going to have to make 42 trades ASAP if I want to continue doing this lol. Thanks.

I personally think its a good rule. I was hesitant with 31 positives to start a group break. When I saw someone with 8 positives doing one I figured something would be said.

    HORRIBLE RULE

I've been ripped off TWO times from members with 49 and 100+ feedback.

Tried one pack sale and after immediate payment, had to wait until the box was sold before my packs were sent so that kinda turned me off from trying it in the future. I don't think it's that big a deal.

Did you ever let a mod know or place the trade/sale into dispute?

Something tells me you've left out a few important details. You just joined SCF in June 2007. Did the 2 ripoffs you mentioned occur here on SCF? If so, was the SCF Trade Manager used? And if so, have you put these trades into "dispute"?

If the two ripoffs occurred elsewhere, please say so.

    Andy
