    I know for a fact that Jordan's XRC was, as well as the second half of production in '86 (cards 95-172). Especially counterfeited were the '86 green Larry Bird and Patrick Ewing XRC. Although I'm pretty sure any Jordans and any key XRCs are prime counterfeit candidates.

    I could be completely way off, but I heard somewhere that the reason why they can't be graded is because the actual printing plates were used to make MORE cards in recent times, well after they stopped making the originals. So in that sense they would be legit Star cards, but thats' cheating!!!
    So of course they had been heavily conterfeited, but also allegedly re-produced.
