Another trader lost
For those of you who were fortunate enough to trade with Harold Comstock, you know what a great person and valuable member of the trading community he was.
I learned from his daughter the other day that Harold passed away this past weekend. No reason for his death was given.
I honestly don't know whether Harold traded here, but if he did and anyone was in the midst of a trade with him, let me know and I'll pass on the information to his daughter.

I checked and couldn't find a member by that name here. I also deleted inappropriate comments that were made in this thread and any replies about the comments.

I dealt with Harold several times on another site and had some good conversations with him about the hobby, online trading, etc. He was always pleasant and would go out of his way to help traders (myself included) by poring through his (large) collection, going to his local shop to spend time looking for stuff, etc.

I definitely don't want to take away from Mr. Comstock but was reading about this and wanted to say how sorry I was for his death. Most definitely too young to go. A few days ago, I too lost a good friend and trader. His name was Leo Schneider. He lived in Anahiem, Cal. We had traded for some 10 years and most of what he was trading for was for his grandson. What was unique was that we actually got to meet. How many of us trade for many years and never meet the people we respect in this hobby? We also had something else in common. He was a dispatcher for Orange County Fire Dept. and I was going to Anahiem for some training eight years ago. He came by the motel and gave me a box full of cards just so I wouldn't get bored. He was a good man dedicated to his family and friends. He and Harold will be missed by many. RIP Leo.

It is a sad day when two great people are lost. May their memories live on forever, and may they rest in peace.
