    Chester Taylor

ok, i have a dilema. on my team i have larry johnson and mo jones-drew as my starters, an di have chester taylor as a backup. i am on the fnece with him. from everyting i've read, he will probably take a back seat to adrian peterson. but with peterson being an injury risk, it may be wise to keep taylor. also, jerious norwood, julius jones, brandon jackson, and tatum bell are available in my league. should i keep chester, or drop him for one of these other 4? lmk what you think.

I think Taylor will be a decent player, he will at least share the carries w/Peterson. But, some of those other guys are pretty good too. I like Tatum Bell this year...new team, Kevin Jones is hurt, he'll probably put up some good numbers. Brandon Jackson could be a good longshot pick...he's the GB RB of the future, but who knows how quickly he'll step in. Julius Jones is ok, but Barber gets all the short yardage TD runs. Norwood has potential, but with all the turmoil, I'm staying away from anything Atl this year. Plus he'll be sharing w/Dunn. So I might drop him for Tatum, but w/Jones, Norwood, and Jackson you'll be in the same situation.

i was thinking the same thing. only up side to those other guys is that dunn had back surgery, and is getting older, and jackson will pretty much get a bulk of the carries over morency. but yeah, it's hard to say how well he'll adjust to the NFL. thanks for the input.

I would say Norwood has the most upside. It is a tough choice as all are sharing carries.

I agree with you on taylor. he's a good bench guy, but with norwood and jackson available, I would drop taylor and someone else and pick up norwood and jackson.

I'm guessing that you are in a very small league if those guys are free agents.

i actually dropped one of my kickers for brandon jackson. i know i'll need one come arizon'a bye week, but i can worry about that later. i hate to drop taylor incase peterson gets hurt. plus, i am curious to see what johnson does with a rebuilt o-line and a 2nd year QB. keeping my fingers crossed!

Oh heck yeah....screw 2 Ks man! You never need 2 kickers, you can always drop and pick up during their bye week. The point differential b/w Ks is never enough to justify keeping more than one to save somebody for a bye week. Good move there..
