    Computer Question: Decreasing file size

Hey guys, i recently ripped all of my music to my computer a while ago. And I guess I did it at too high of a rate, so most of my songs on here are 7 or 8 megabites. Is there anyway to decrease the size of these and still keep them as mp3s?

what program did you use to rip them? usually the higher file size is because it's at 320. If you rip at a lower level (quality may be slightly effected) then you will get a smaller file.

I use a program called Streambox Ripper.
You can convert entire folders of music from mps to waves back to mps... and mp3s to mp3s of a different quality. With a little searching, I am sure you can find it on the web for free.
