Fantasy guys.. could use some help

Well I just did my 1st fantasy draft. Feeling kinda good about it but then feeling not so good at the same time. RB's are usually the best pick I think and im kinda lacking possibly there.. Heres what I got.. Hoping manning/marvin combo happens like 10 times a game.

    Peyton manning
    Alex Smith
    Jason Campbell
    Ronnie Brown
    Jerious Norwood
    Tatum Bell
    Leon Washington
    Marvin Harrison
    Anquan Boldin
    Braylon Edwards
    Heath miller
    Marcedes Lewis
    Chi Def
    Buff Def
    Robbie Gould K
    Nugent K

Dont know how different each league is but in the one were doing at work I needed 2 or each position. We start 1 QB,1 RB,1WR,1TE,1DEF,1K then we have the option of 2 extras of either RB,WR,TE Example could start 3 wr. 1 rb 1 te or any combination. 5 total rb,wr,te

I think my RBs are pretty weak. Hoping Ronnie Brown has a huge yr and norwood or washington or tatum can manage a great yr. I think my 3 wr are pretty decent.. TE is a bit iffy though.

What do you guys think? Any pointers or anything for the newbie at this.. Ronnie was avaible in the 2nd round and me being a big Ronnie fan had to take him..

My 1st week this is how it looks like its going to match up against.
    opponent
    Bulger, Marc
    Green, Ahman
    Tomlinson, LaDainian
    Jackson, Darrell WR
    Johnson, Calvin WR
    Davis, Vernon
    Wilkins, Jeff
    Steelers, DST DST PIT

    VS me at
    P.Manning
    Ronnie Brown
?able on tatum injury, norwood maybe
    Marvin harison
    Anquan boldin
    Heath Miller
    Robbie Gould
    Chi def

Maybe even start 3 WR and 1 RB?? I dont know..

    Thanks for any response..

I think that week one you might get beat. But no worrys peyton at qb is good. Also i think that brown is going to have a great season.

id say stick with norwood as your #2 back for pretty much the whole year, he should have a breakout season this year

Yeah you'll probably get beat week 1...any decent team w/LT is hard to beat. I definitely would not start 3 WR...Braylon would have to have a really good day to equal what an average RB would do. I would start Norwood as well...w/Vick gone and Harrigton at QB, the RBs are going to get a lot of work in Atl. You probably could have gotten some better RBs, but all in all not too bad.

One tip I have for you, you don't need 2 Ds and 2 Ks...The difference in points from the highest to the 8th, 10th, 12th D and K (however many teams you have) is not enough to justify having more than one. Use those roster spots for another RB, WR, possibly QB, or even TE...and just pick somebody up on waivers for the K or D bye week. Or if it's not going to be that hard of a game, go without a K or D that week.

It might be worthwhile to find a Jets fan in the league and see if you can't package Nugent and Leon Washington or a Bears fan and package Gould and the Bears D in a trade that might get you another decent running back. Week in and week out, I think you will need someone who will get more consistent carries than Norwood.

    Thanks guys.

1st off for whatever reason (im new to this) we needed at least 2 players at everyspot. Doesnt sound like that is normal I guess but that was the rules going in.

This is a 12 man team and all the good RB were taken up pretty much in the 1st round.. I picked 4th overall and I picked manning because I wasnt really set on Gore or alexander with injuries. I agree my RB kinda suck. I think Ronnie with do good but could be a bit bias..haha Norwood looked good from what I saw. As i was saying I picked 4th and then it goes backwords in the second round.. (again dont know if this is normal or common or whatever) so 1-12 and then 12 starts down to 1.. So with the 21st pick got Ronnie Brown.

Im hoping that Marvin and Boldin can do good because Ronnie and Norwood might be ?able on points..

I think i said earlier that I picked Manning and alex smith and smith has the same bye week as Manning so ended up drafting campbell near the end. Thought about dropping Smith but in the league were doing theres $1 fee per player trade which goes into the winnings at the end. I think smith will do better then campbell so havent decided what to do..

Thanks for all the help and tips..
    Olly
