Talking Please rate my "Keeper" team in DEEP league!

Hey Fellas...Tell me what you think!

Keeper League... With 16 teams we keep 6

    We Start:
    QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,FLEX,K,DEF

    My TEAM: "Pigskin Pimps"
    (Bold=Keeper)
    QB: Donovan McNabb
    RB: Ladainian Tomlinson
    RB: Laurence Maroney
    WR: Reggie Wayne
    WR: Marques Colston
WR: Isacc Bruce (T.Holt not 100%, and Bruce still something to prove)
    Flex: Tatum Bell
K: Olindo Mare (Saints #1 Offense, Indoors..Nuff Said)
DEF: Green Bay Packers (AJ Hawk...NUFF SAID!!! haha)

    Bench:
Jamarcus Russell QB (Will eventually sign, and Keeper League!)
Dante Culpepper QB (Will end up on waiver wire..VERY Quick..haha)
TJ Duckett RB (Tatum Bell Insurance, and Goal Line Stud..maybe)
Tony Hunt RB (Rookie, with lot's of potential, and will get Goal Line Duty)
Lorenzo Booker RB (Rookie with loads of potential, and R.Brown in Doghouse)
Bryant Johnson WR (Godforbid, but if an injury happens Fitz/Bold.Bryant=Stud)
David Patten WR (Marques Colston Insurance..D.Brees seems to like him)
Mike Williams WR (Old USC Coach..M.Kippin Now coaching him in Oakland..hmmm)

    Don't forget 16 teams...So VERY deep league..

I will need a lot of luck, but isn't that what Fantasy Football is all about.:new_angel

    Opinions?

    Thanks in advance!

nice team, love to see keeper leagues pan out for multiple seasons!!

if im gonna be critical (which i am with everyones team, lol) i would just disagree with your take on isaac. for one, he is going into this 14th season. they brought in several other weapons for the passing game (drew bennett / randy mcmichael) which is sure to take away touches from bruce (i actually like bennett to establish himself as a real target in that offense). also not crazy about drafting russell. keeper league or not, what are the chances of you keeping him for next year anyway with the team you have (assuming mcnabb is alive at seasons end)? he hasn't signed yet and the chances of him missing all of preseason and making any kind of strides on the field this year are next to none (have a feeling cpep will be on your team longer than you think since ya gotta have a year long backup for mcnabb with his injury history, and as deep as your league is starting QBs arent all that accessable on waivers)

great group of starters, just think depth could be a problem.

FYI - Lane Kiffin is the raiders coach, Monte Kiffen is his father - Kiffin not Kippin. was never the offensive coordinator when williams was at SC, just the receivers coach, so williams never ran any kind of kiffin playbook before - he just taught him how to get fat and lazy apparently, lol.

Thanks for the truthful opinion.. that is what I wanted!!!

As for the depth..It is a 16 team league, so my team has as much, if not more depth than anyone else...Depth is a problem for all 16 teams

Bruce is a HUGE crap shoot, but where I got him in this 16 team league is a steal.. I say he still gets 65-75 Receptions, with 6-8 TD's and 1000+ yards... not bad for 3rd wWR in a 16 team league..

Jamarcus Russell, is a physical god, and will eventually sign... I will be keeping him next year, unless Tatum Bell becomes the next Marshall Faluk, which we all know he won't...

My "Keepers" for '08 as of now would be:
(But 1 year is a LONGTIME in the NFL)

    D.McNabb
    J.Russell
    L.Tomlinson
    L.Maroney
    R.Wayne
    M.Colston

Again...Thanks for the straight forward talk...I truly appreciate it!!!

And for the FYI...Never claimed he was the Offensive Cordinator...Just said he was one of his old coaches at USC, which he was the WR coach..

    Thanks again!
