My fantasy team
I play in a keeper league with a salary cap. We use the salaries released by the Sporting News.
QB D. Brees
QB T. Jackson
RB L. Tomlinson
RB B. Westbrook
WR T. Holt
WR T. Owens
WR R. Moss
TE A. Gates
TE E. Johnson
K S. Gostkowski
D Pittsburgh
It's an 8 team league, however, the cap really makes it hard especially the way we do free agency.

I like Eric Johnson to do some good things this year. He had a big '05 season before getting hurt.

how the heck did you put that team together with a cap?? all the salaries i have seen have LT at 45-50 percent of the cap!! if its legit, that team is unbeatable!! i dont care if ya got tavaris or not!!
also, how do you do a keeper league with a cap? you update the salaries of your keepers each year? if so, that kinda defeats the purpose of a keeper league (you are getting punished for your keepers doing well with the increase in salary, where you should be rewarded)

Yes, we update the salaries each year. This helps to keep a competitive balance. I am one of the only two owners to play every year.
First year - Drafted LT, Holt, Brees
Second year - Draft Westbrook and Gates
Third year - Traded Marc Bulger for Owens
This past offseason - Acquired Moss through free agency
Updating salaries plus the cap is used to help prevent dynasties. Out of four years, I only have 1 title in this league. We use a 75 million cap and Sporting News lists LT's salary at 11 million... Had to use up 9 million of my cap space to acquire Moss and protect Holt.
Our lineups are 1 K, 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 2 Swing players (RB/WR/TE), 1 D
The year I drafted Gates, I had Gonzalez on my team as well and used to run 2 TEs ever so often. This year, my rbs and wrs all have different bye weeks...so as long as I can stay injury free, I should have a decent season...
