Question about Trading at a Card Shop
I went to my local card shop with about 15-20 cards with a BV of $500 to see what I could do as far as trading. These were not junk cards obviously, but they also were not necessarily high end stuff. They told me they dont trade wax cards and are only interested in the high end stuff. I have been collecting for a few years and have acquired cards I am not interested in keeping. How do I get rid of these cards without going on Ebay?? I would like to trade on here but dont have the time to list out all of my cards. Any suggestions?

That's pretty much your choices. Here, somewhere like Naxcom, or Ebay.
Card shops pretty much are like the rest of us on a larger scale. they'll only trade/buy things that they can use. In the shop's case, they're trying to look for things that they can sell. If they can't sell it (because their clientčle aren't buying that stuff), then they're not going to buy it from you.
And yeah, a large number of shops are going GU/AU/high end. Some aren't. The one I go to, while I don't really like them, will at least go for RCs and some paralells on players people ask for.

Thats what I figured for the most part. I was really shocked they were not interested in the 07 Playoff Prestige RC SP's, as I have all of them. How do you build credibility on here with trading and are people willing to give a guy with no trading feedback much of a chance?

This site is great, you should have no problem trading. most members would ask you to send first because you don't have a trader rating yet. once you reach around ten trades people send at the same time with you. if you have any other questions or concerns feel free to ask :)

Another place you can try is a card show. Either set up a table, or see if other dealers are interested in your cards.
