Shaq's first card: 92 Classic Previews

Some more information on the card, since Classic made a ton that look the same. The front depicts Shaq in his yellow LSU jersey, dunking and kind of leaning off to the right of the card. The back reads "FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY / PROMO CARD - 1 OF ONLY 10,000". It is numbered one of five in the set, and a blurb on the back explains that it was originally inserted into '92 Classic Football. This is NOT the same card that has a partially cut-out picture of Shaq on the back, although its front is identical to that one. This one was made before that one.

Not to be contrary or detract from your sale but the first Shaq Card (that wasn't cut out of a magazine) is the 1990-91 Kentucky Big Blue Dream Team/Award Winners card. I attached pics of the card.

This card has two versions. One was an insert in the Kentucky Big Blue magazine as a cut-out card. The other (#19b) was produced as part of a set only that was sold near the UK campus. From what I heard while visiting is that back then, a TON of these sets were just thrown away because they were gas station / college shop type items.

There's a BIN on Ebay for the set at a pretty fair price though I've seen the Shaq card go as cheap as 20 and as much as 150. The BIN is here.

Perhaps I should have been more specific...this is Shaq's first card by an official sports card company (as far as I know).
