    Is this card real?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/2004-Topps-Natio...QQcmdZViewItem

Can't find any information on that. I know that Topps had Etopps promos in 2004, but regular Topps 1/1?

    I would say no...

This line helps back my thought...

"these specially produced 1/1 cards were random giveaways to VIPS, that for some reason were not all given out and I have acquired the set!!"

If they were not all given out, how did he acquire the set?

Wasn't there a seller from LV that was doing those after market 1/1s?

I would tend to think it is fake also.

i don,t care what his feedback is because if the person getting these fake 1 of 1,s doesn,t know it,s fake they will leave him positive feedback, rare 1 of 1,s but i,ve miraculously tracked down every vip that got one and put the whole set together and now i,m selling them 1 by 1, don,t think so just my opinion though take care steve

I would have to assume that someone with that many feedbacks knows what he's doing. That is just my opinion.

yes mindcrime i agree his feedback tally is impressive, but all that proves is that he knows how to pull the wool over peoples eyes on certain cards. i,m sure most of his sales are reputable this one just smells fishy that,s all, would you buy any of these so called 1 of 1,s just a question don,t want to argue just want your opinion thanks steve

Topps did do this with some 1/1's... BUT, the only ones I've seen have had the sticker on the back...

The stickers that are on the front tend to be people that are in the know.. The only real ones have come in the official Topps holders (save for this years National Convention which came in a mix, but with a special topps sticker...

Im new here but not to the bay. That is an impressive rating. But the card can't be to sought after if no one bid on it. LOL!
