Exclamation Gem Elite Grading?? Creased Cards Getting Gem 10??

I got a card from eBay that was graded by Gem Elite and given the Pristine 10 Grading, Edges 10, Centering 10, Corners 10, and Surface 9.5 However I get the card and it is creased/bent from the corner of the jersey diectu all the way to the bottom of BOTH jersey die-cuts (Garrett Wolfe/Kenny Irons SPX Dual Jersey) This guy has thousands of Gem Elite graded cards and EVERY one that I see has the exact same grading. Some people have even broke open the cases and resubmitted them to GAI and every card was confirmed by them to be trimmed. Anyone else run into issues like this or know of anything that can be done or just have any feedback on this?

Sounds like hes faking the grade. I'd leave negative feedback about it. But if he's selling that much it would probably get burried fast. Good luck.

That is why I don't get cards graded. If I would have a card graded it would have to be by beckett or psa. even though when Jake Plummer was hot, I saw a psa 9 graded topps chrome plummer, but it was labeled as a 1998 topps chrome randy moss. oops!!

Yeah that was what I was thinking. All of his other negative and neutral feedback are buried waaayyyyy deep in the 100's of pages of feedback. He said I could send the card back and get a reimbursement, but frankly, the cost to ship it back wouldnt be worth it. Guess I will just keep it and roll on. Thanks

well, stop buying graded cards and maybe these companies(all of them actually)will get their crap together. It`s nice to have a card preserved, but does one have to pay $20+ to have it preserved and possibly come back with a lousy grade? Plastic sleeve and toploaders are just fine for preserving cards. I hate the whole "grading" of cards issue. It`s a joke. Just stop buying them(BGS, PSA, GAI, SGC and all the other junk companies out there). You really don`t need to spend that kind of money for a piece of cardboard with a photo on it.

well yeah that was why I bought it for like 5 bucks instead of paying to have it graded. This was pregraded. Im done with graded cards. Doesnt seem to do much good. I am going to stick with my top loaders.
