    George Washington Hair Card

    Back up for auction!

Anyone know the reason this card keeps getting re-listed? I have heard rumors of Ebay policies getting in the way.

    Any other ideas?

My theory is that eBay has a policy against listing anything that could be considered humain remains, organs and/or body parts... thus creating this silly controversy over the listing of this card.

I've heard the people listing say ebay has been pulling it because of the card being listed under the wrong catagory(sp)

I think the 'wrong category' explanation is bogus. There has to be more than that to the story. I mean, for anyone out there who buys on eBay... who buys something solely based on what category you list it under? No One! That's right, we actually open and read the listing. I honestly can't say for sure what the big deal is, but it sure is a curious scenario.

There are two of these out there! This one is at $3,786.37 with about 2 days left.

So nice of them to charge an extra $50 for S/H. As if getting at or greater than $10,000 wasn't enough

stl - Funny you noticed that - I always take note of it. That's my favorite part of high end auctions. You would think it would be factored in. :-)

Not sure, but all these interruptions has destroyed any momentum this card originally had.
