I've pre ordered a case of 2007 ultimate collection. Should I bust?

I payed a thousand for a case of 2007 ultimate collection. I've heard before that the first released stuff usually has better hits to generate a buzz. Regardless of that or not Do you guys think I should bust it when it comes or just sell it off in boxes?

Hmm. Maybe bust it, then put your stuff on eBay. The first of every item tends to go for wayyyy more than the following items. But I guess you could probably do just as well with selling the boxes. If you happen to bust them and get anything Garrett Wolfe, shoot me a PM? If you think the product would be worth the shot of opening and reselling, then go with that. Plus, you have more fun doing it that way. :)

I think it may be worth opening and re-selling because like you just said when products like that first come out I've noticed that they do sell real well on ebay, but do you think that the boxes will command more then 250$ and if so how much do you think?

Yeah that and when they are first opened, a majority of the good and high-end cards are pulled and put into circulation right away. And with this being such a nice product, they will all be opened pretty quick I would say. The longer they sit out there, the more high-ends are out there hiding. So that could also be why they sell so well, the 'fear' that they may not see that card again. As far as the boxes getting more than 250 each, it is very possible I would think. You figure each Hobby box guarantees 4 Autographs (1 Rookie) and 8 Memorabilia cards, I would think maybe get 300 for each box, but I guess it would depend on how much everyone wants these, that and maybe how well other peoples busts went. If they see everyone else getting good stuff, they may pay it. With the Ultimate Inscriptions Insert, those will bring in some good revenue because everyone loves a low numbered inscription that makes their card stick out more than anyone elses. But I dont think 250 would be shooting too high for a box. But then again, Im not a dealer nor do I bust boxes anymore now that I am a player collector, so I may be a little outdated ;)
