I'm not sure what is homosexual about this.
The bump rule has always been in effect. Saying, "look at my thread, hey over here!" over and over is not helpful on a busy forum. If will find most forums have this rule.
The only link you have is a Photo Bucket link in your signature so what are you complaining about?

I'm considering increasing the banner size to 450 wide since banners are now only showing up once per page. More on this tomorrow!

So I didn't hear about this until I got a warning yesterday afternoon. Now I have a warning on my profile that never expires?

At least give us a few days to get stuff changed. I changed mine as soon as I got the message. My banner was only 400 x 100, I can understand the really large ones but again give some people time to make changes before you put a warning on thier profile please...

I don't see a warning for points, only a zero point warning. Only you and staff can see warnings when they are given.Last edited by TurdFerguson; 10-01-2007 at 10:11 AM.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger I got one too. A simple PM reminder would have solved the issue instead of a warning.
An extremely attractive well-used size is 468X80. Just my personal opinion on banners.

You also have a zero point warning. These zero point warnings are essentially a verbal warning just like a pm would be. The only difference is that with the warning system, we'll now have a record for reference. If I warned you with a pm, another staff member had no idea you have been previously warned for a signature violation and if you happened to do it again, they wouldn't know that it wasn't the first time.

All I was trying to say is that a little communication would have solved the issue without trying out the new infraction system. I understand taking the system out for a test drive was needed, but to give warnings to basically new members or members that are just starting to actively post leaves a bad taste.
I am on many boards and respect the rules that are there and realize they are there for a reason. I will do the same here as well. If I have to live with a warning...so-be-it as it was my error in not correctly reading the rules as posted.

We weren't taking the system for a test drive, this is how it's done. What you guys aren't understanding is you were just verbally warned, it's not worth any points against you. I think you guys see the word "warning" and start freaking out. All it does, is tell you that a rule was violated and we have a record that you were told about it. If you get warnings with points, then you should be concerned, you shouldn't be concerned about zero point warnings.
As you also mentioned, reading the rules of a site is pretty important when a person joins. If more people read the rules before they broke them, they wouldn't be so shocked when they get a notice about breaking them.
