    Blasters

What are blasters? I hear people saying that they just bought a "blaster"? Is that a box or a pack?

They are a cheaper version of a hobby box. They normally come with about 8 packs, and cost around $20. Don't expect to pull any really nice cards from blasters, though. Depending on the product and price, certain blasters may guarentee a GU or Auto. Hopefully, that helps a little.

Wal-Mart, Target, Fred Myer, and other retail stores like those usually only sell blaster boxes. Hobby boxes cost anywhere from $50-$300, or even more, because they come with more packs, more value, and better chances of pulling valuable cards out of them. Hobby boxes are usually found online or at your local card shop.

blaster boxes are just a box of retail packs, like $20 for 8 upper deck packs of $20 for 22 topps packs!
