    Time to Re-enter the hobby?

As most all of you know I have recently "donated" a good portion (95% I would say) of my collection to the garbage men. I have kept some odds and ends.
I think I want to re-enter the hobby but a little more careful this time to not get as many base and actually have stuff people will want to trade for.
As everyone knows player wise my collection is ongoing of Steve Avery and Aaron Heilman, with a few Joe Ness in there as well.
Basically, in a nut shell, I would any and all advice of where to "begin". I do not have a lot of money and the only places I can get cards are from Wal-Mart (locally), Meijer, and maybe Target. Meijer and Target are 45 minutes away. Of those boxes and packs at those places what can I get that people will actually have a demand for? I bought a box of Allen and Ginter last month and I am still sitting on them. I really did not like the looks of them at all. I guess no one does either since I still have them.
Like I said any and all advice of how to "re-enter" this crazy hobby will come with rewards to me. Thank You
