Pricing an MJ card
I started collecting basketball cards in 1998. I went to this local card shop as often as I could. The one and only time I ever bought a nice pack of cards it was a 1997-1998 spx pack of 3 cards. I opened it and it had a Michael Jordan grand finale card in it. The shop keeper said put it down and he put in a case for me. He looked it up and it was worth $800-$1200 without it being graded. I lost it in my house for a while and I just found a month ago. I got it graded by Beckett and it got an 8.5. The population report said that it was the only one of its kind to ever be graded.
Long story short, I would like to know if there is someone out there that could help me price it. I have some pictures of it in my photobucket album, sorry they don't look good.

Congrats on owning such a nice card! Beckett says $1200 if you were looking to sell, but my guess is that it would go for anywhere from $600-$1000+ on an ebay auction. Hope that helps and good luck!
ps do you have a link to a scan?

Sweet looking card, at first it looks like the gold version, but on the back it says 14/50. I have never seen a Grand Finale card before, thanks for sharing! That should get you a pretty penny, good luck with it if you decide to sell it.
