    Lightbulb Official Cleveland Cavs Thread

Last night the Cavs lost to their coach's (Paul Silas) former team the New Orleans Hornets...The final was 82-72. Baron Davis tore it up for the Hornets with 26 points mostly outside shots...On the other side it was Lebron James JUST missing his first career triple double with 15 points 9 assists and 8 rebounds...The problem with the Cavs is that their FG % is sooo low...Oh well hope fully better days are ahead of us..The Cavs next game is Fri. Nov. 28 @ Detroit 8:00 EST time airing on ESPN and FSNOH...GO CAVS!!!

The do have a great team. I agree with you podstock, they do need to get rid of Ricky Davis. There are plenty of guys who could easily fill his shoes. I also like Boozer on the team. He is a great tough guy that can be a great defensive presence for them. The future does look great for the Cavs!

    everything hinges on Lebron

will he be as stupid as Jay Williams, and buy a motorcycle, then try to ride it?

I am shocked at how well Lebron is doing...even Kobe wasn't this good in his rookie year

He's doing better than Kobe, but is also getting a lot more playing time and a lot more shots. When Kobe came in, he had to share the ball with Shaq, Van Exel, and Eddie Jones. Lebron is basically running the show!

yes both of you are right BUT what impresses me is what he's able to do WITHOUT shooting the ball...

I have to agree with you on that. He is one hell of a passer. You rarley see Kobe with over 5 assists in a game. That is what is probably going to make Lebron such a special player. Now if he could just work on his jump shot a little, lol!

So far, Kobe has proven he can make the big plays when it counts, in regular season and in the playoffs.

As a matter of fact, Kobe is the Lakers' best player on the road in the playoffs, far better than Shaq.

We will see how Lebron does.

Paul Pierce hasn't done much in the playoffs
    Dirk Nowitzki hasn't done much
Jason Kidd, for all that he has done for the Nets, pretty much sucks in the playoffs - his shooting is abysmal

Cavs play tonight on national TV vs. Ben Wallace and the Pistons... I highly doubt that the Cavs will win unless Ricky plays less selfishly and Z is a beast on the boards and Miles can hit a jumper and Boozer can make everything in the low post and Lebron makes ZERO turnovers... but back to reality check out this cool picture

well....the Cavs lost a heartbreaker last night to the Pistons to extend their road losing streak to 31 games dating back to last January. No one really did that great for the Cavs if you ask me ...but on the other side Rich Hamilton score 40 something (not sure of the EXACT total) It was a pretty tough loss if you ask me but it's something that I'm used to so oh well
