    puzzle

You are a detective and have been hired to solve a crime. There are two dead bodies on the floor of a basement of a house along with some broken glass and water. The bodies are at the base of a table and there hasn't been any visitors for three days. The house is in the country next to the railroad tracks. What was the cause of death?

    THIS WAS NOT A SUICIDE!!!

please don't google it. use your cranium...

Someone put a penny on the tracks, it got run over and hurled in through the window, breaking the glass. The two people were eating dinner at the time. The sudden noise of what just happened gave one of them a heart attack, and died on the floor next to the dinner table. The other one (presumably the spouse) just sat there sad/horrified/shocked, until (s)he died of loneliness.

A large storm then moved through the area. The window was still broken, so the inside of the house was drenched by the time the storm rolled through. Nobody lived near them, so nobody noticed for a couple days, until a passer-by noticed the broken window, peered through, and saw what had happened.

    Do I get a prize?

Just to give everyone a heads up, my son (Dodgersalltheway) is at his mom's house for weekend visitation--no 'Net access there. He'll likely update this thread Sunday evening or Monday evening.

Yes! There was a train going by and made the bowl fall off the table.

    Can anybody answer this one?

Last week I was driving the local school bus and 12 kids got on. At the next stop, 5 got off and 7 got on. At the next stop, 10 got on and 1 got off. At the last stop 23 kids got off. What was the name of the bus driver?
