    Total newbie; need input

    Hi,

We may be interested in selling much of my husband's vintage (1967 and earlier) baseball card collection (college tuition, wedding, etc.) We have not had them graded, though they have been well cared for and look good.

What can you tell me about Dean's Cards? We are considering sending them the collection to get an idea of what they would purchase them for but are a little nervous about sending the cards off. I want to be sure that their reputation is as good as they indicate it is. (I tend to be quite suspicious...)

    Thanks so much.

I'm fairly new to cards myself, but I do alot of business online selling items. I would think that you would come out ALOT better by getting yourself a couple of price guides and selling the better ones as singles on ebay and the lesser cards in small lots.

You're better off selling them on your own. Whoever you take them to, is out to make as much money as they can, so they'll try to get away with giving you nothing for them.
