    Football Books

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions for good football books out there. I just got done with 12 mighty orphans which is about a team from a masonic orphanage in Texas that always beat the big premiere schools in the state way back in the day, like 1930's. Great book, highly recommend it. Also if anyone is looking for a good one The way We played the game was by far the best book I have evr read and if you have a chance to pick up a copy you definetly should.

I also prefer books on high school teams, but Monster of the Midway, about bronko Nagurski was a really good one as well

Bleachers by John Grisham is the only football book I've read...

It's not bad, but nowhere near as good as his others like The Firm, A Time To Kill and The Partner

if you're looking for a good football movie, rent The Last Boyscout with Bruce Willis & Damon Wayans
