Why does Steven Jackson get no respect?
6th leading rusher in the NFL...he really does not get what he deserves. A week ago, he had 92 rushing yards, a TD, and 13 catches for 130! Anybody else thinks this guy needs more respect?

I think people aren't giving him the respect because he hasn't proven his durability. He wasn't utolized as much in his first 2 seasons due to a platoon with Marshall Faulk and also due to the Mike Martz offense he was in. This year Scott Linehan is running the show and his offense is more geared toward running the ball, which means more carries for Jackson.
Personally I like Jackson and think he is a elite running back. I like hius one cut then downhill smashmouth style. He also has good hands for a big back and also surprising speed.

A four game losing streak isn't helping getting Jackson noticed. They need to win for him to get his due.

Honestly...look back at LT...he been the top back since 2002...give or take...he just finally started receiving hobby respect last season...for some reason it usually takes longer for RBs to establish respect...LJ was an extreme last year...what he did was amazing....
SJack has my respect...i know that...he is one of my top guys im collecting right now...waiting for the hobby respect to come around.
