Devin Hester Rookie of the Year?

ST. LOUIS (Dec. 11, 2006) -- Chicago rookie Devin Hester ran back two kickoffs for scores for his fifth and sixth return touchdowns of the season, an NFL record.

In the second quarter, Hester took the ball on the 6, headed up the middle, then sharply cut to his left and ran untouched down the sideline for the score, giving the Bears a 7-6 lead over the St. Louis Rams. It was his first kickoff return for a score this season, to go with three punt returns for TDs and a 108-yard run following a missed field goal against the New York Giants on Nov. 12 that tied the longest play in league history.

"The coaches were telling me they kind of overpursue on the wedge," Hester said, "and to look for the cutback. They overpursued to the right and I cut it back."

Exactly. He'll be lucky to finish in the Top-5.

After Voting, I bet you these guys ALL finish in front of Hester
    (In no particular order)...

    Addai
    Jones-Drew
    Colston
    Young
    Maroney

I could be wrong....but we'll see. I still think Colston is up there with Jones-Drew and VY for ROY Honors right now.

There has to be no way Bush wins. Unless it's rigged. If he wins, there's something seriously wrong, when he's not even ROY on his OWN TEAM!

I thought there was a Defensive ROY as well as Offensive ROY. If so, he's a shoe-in. Although that Ryans fellow in Houston is awesome as well.

Yea, there is one of each...but how is he a "shoe-in" for Defensive ROY? Look at his Defensive Numbers...

    5 Tackles, 0 Sacks, 0 Interceptions.

    Ohhhh yea....Definatley a "shoe-in" for Defensive ROY.
