I'm in to the next round!

Well, I moved in to the next round in both of my fantasy football leagues. I finished 12-2 and 11-3 in my two leagues. I had a buy in the 12-2 league and one my first round play off game in the other. These are VERY competitive leagues as one has 12 teams and we play 5 defensive players.

How is everyone else doing?

Well, I won BOTH of my fantasy match ups and into the Fantasy Bowl in both of my leagues. One of them is a $550 and the other is a $100 first place prizes. I am favored by 50 points in the $100 one and only 1 point in the $550 one.

good luck to ya mike...i do about 10-12 leagues a year...im still alive in 5 of them, 1 is a money league if i win it i win $500, this is the finals...so even if i lose i win $100

Well not sure how your guys are but mine has 3 divisions. So basically the top 3 spots from each division plus one wildcard go head to head after 14 games. This league has been a perpetual thorn in my side LOL. This year I had the 4th best record and had the biggest scoring discrepancy between the points for and points against (LOL) and I still finished 8-6.

So one division had two teams that were 11-3 10-4 while a guy in my division beat me out at 9-5 as he had L.T. and he came alive after game 4 (last 10 games). The bottom division had all 3 teams that finished 7-7 but one has to be the division champs even though my record would be better. Oh well it happened before and I should be used to it. I can say I one once of the 5 years of course I hate that the COMMISH might win this year because he been spanked hard the past 4.

Remember this is a 12 man league so who should I keep as I can only keep two for next year and must turn in the pick's by the SUPERBOWL or they go back. So here who I been toying with and just asking suggestions.

I wouldn't mind keeping 2 running backs as I have 3 good ones as I traded Chester during the middle of the season but just wondering.

I also had Gates and the Chicago Defense which ended up number one in both categories in our league of course gates was way off last year but for a 6th round pick it was a no brainer. Chris Chambers was a huge bust this year for me but hell you always hit and miss as the rb's were all gold for me and my biggest problem was which of the 3 to start. Westbrook cost me my season as I started him one game and I lost by 20 points (10 point a td) in my league so if he would have played I would have won and that would have tied me with the COMMISH who had L.T. and would have been some nice bragging rights. OF course he didn't play and I was OUCH 121-101 loss that was one of the big sore spots. Fitzgerald going down didnt' help me either as I lost 4 of 5 games in a stretch. When he came back went 4-4 down the stretch as good rb helped along with Rivers playing good ball for a rookie as he was a orignal pickup for me in the draft.

p.s. Looking back I remember the first year we did this I had Priest Holmes, Clinton Portis and L.T. To think I didn't even make the playoffs. Our league is about 700 for the winner at the season end and I took it home once as I won it all and in reality that was the worst team I ever had on PAPER. Of course they won as it there LUCK involved.
