Video editing programs?
Does anyone use an video editing programs? I'm looking for one that will rip DVDs to my computer. I've know of Nero, but it's expensive and heard that it can be confusing to use. Any suggestions?

Alex,
This is something that I am interested in too. As I want to start editing stuff when I get a nice video camera for shows and such. My friend that owns a media firm showed me a site that ranks them all and give prices as well. I am sure Mike or someone might remember the name of it but it was great for reading on information.
As the users rated the editing programs and listed what it was good at and what was bad. Of course some had a ton of reviews so the review of it would be more predictable etc as a lot of input and not skewed etc.
p.s. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND OUT DOWN THE ROAD.

Don,
I'll be looking into it a bit more. I don't have a video camera (and no plans to get one in the near future), but just something to do for fun with existing footage. I messed around with a program that came with my laptop and it was fun.
