    Mirko CroCop vs Vanerlei Silvia!

I am a HUGE Pride fan as I was a Golden Gloves boxer and studied Brazillian JuJitsu and Jeet Kune Do for a few years. I had been waiting for this fight for years. Two of the best strikers in the world (outside of Fedor). Enjoy!

I used to do this sport for almost 2 years. I did not have a pro fight, but did spar with some local pro fighters. I got creamed of course but had a blast! My brother is a Mixed Martial Arts instructor in Massachusetts and teaches this style of fighting if anyone is in MA and interested!

First off Wandi has been over-rated for a long time. Him calling out Chuck over the last year or so is a joke. CroCop, great fighter but he is bad against the submit in my opinion. But what legs the guy has, if he gets a solid kick on you your going to sleep.
Now the best thing pride has the Fedor, he is in my opinion the very best heavyweight there is. I would love to see him come over to the states and fight Tim Silvia. I think he would tear Tim up from start until the bell rang about 30 seconds into it.
I watch way more UFC than I do Pride. Over the last year I have watched more MMA fighting than ever. I have been to every payperview and my DVR picks up everything that comes on. Plus I have watched a ton on line also. I am a huge MMA fan. Fact is last UFC PPV I had to order because I had the kids so my friends just came over here, its still on the DVR (poor Hughes). But most of the time I go to Hooters or Fox and Hound and just watch them there.
There are so many great fighters out there it would be great to see the UFC and Pride firgure out where the problems are (I am guessing its money for the most part) and get it on. Pride did the Vegas thing and brought some of the best fighters they have but did not put them in good matchups. The wanted to showcase the best but not give them the compatition they needed.
There is so much to talk about right now on the MMA stuff with all the title changes going on in the UFC its been fun to watch.
But if Chuck fights Wandi - Go to sleep Wandi
Chuck fights CroCop - who knows....

Good fight coming on Dec. 30th, Chuck and Tito, I will be at Hooters forsure!
    Rick
