I say send me the fat cows address....and I will mail her a Christmas card! Shoot..I'll mail the spanish chick too!!

The girl in our Spanish class seemed pretty mad yesterday. I still called it a Christmas party though. Me and Ash took candy canes. I didn't know if she would be offended by them or not since they're kind of Christmasy. But oh well.

I don't get how you can have a Christmas tree up and then get mad when someone tells you Merry Christmas. Maybe she called it a "holiday tree" Walmart did that last year. But this year they're calling it a Christmas tree again. Go figure. lol

Why take a time of year which historically strengthens kinship bonds and find ways to inject anger and differentiation with curt animosity? Has communication between people changed so much as to make it so difficult to find your 'thick skin' and spread smiles and cheer no matter what verbal monikers people put on the Holiday? Have people lost their ability to 'suck it up' and give part of their good side to others? From what I read everyone on this site KNOWS how important it is and can be!!!

Last year, there was a MacDonald's in Raleigh that had a sign that wished everyone a "Merry Christmas". Some insane biddy went through the roof, but the franchise manager refused to take it down.

He wound up getting a WHOLE LOT of business during Christmas he probably would not have otherwise gotten from people supporting him!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Having been a bell ringer for the salvation army the last few weeks, i know all about the PC BS...they even ask us to not say Merry Christmas unless the other person says it first...yet on our name tags, under our name it has God Bless you....I don't understand it either, just a simple redneck tryin to do a good thing. I got the last shift of the season tonight, 3-11, walmart...and i'm gonna do my elf outfit...makes me look like a fool for sure, as if i needed assistance with that, but ya know...it puts smiles on peoples faces, gets the little ones to staring and laughing...had one woman ask me last weekend if she could rent me out, that upon seeing me, her two yr old son stopped crying for the first time in 4 hrs. I'm just glad i live in a part of this country where things haven't changed much in the last couple of decades....still got all kinds of wackos here but not too many with religion...Well, ya'll take care those that still have shopping to do....and please, if you see someone out there ringing a bell with a red kettle, stop and toss a buck in, give em a smile....be amazed at how much you can lift that person's spirits doin that.

Check this Anti-Christmas, Anti-US wacko out!
A man used flammable liquid to light himself on fire, apparently to protest a San Joaquin Valley school district's decision to change the names of winter and spring breaks to Christmas and Easter vacation.

The man, who was not immediately identified, on Friday also set fire to a Christmas tree, an American flag and a revolutionary flag replica, said Fire Captain Garth Milam.

Seeing the flames, Sheriff's Deputy Lance Ferguson grabbed a fire extinguisher and ran to the man.

Flames were devouring a Christmas tree next to the Liberty Bell, where public events and demonstrations are common.

Beside the tree the man stood with an American flag draped around his shoulders and a red gas can over his head.

Seeing the deputy, the man poured the liquid over his head. He quickly burst into flames when the fumes from the gas met the flames from the tree.
I think the Police infringed on his right to burn himself to death! He should sue the police.
