    At twelve it seems he has built up a way of manipulating people and situations. It would help him to begin encountering people who will teach him some different life skills, but he WON"T FIND THAT IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM!!

    Maybe he just wasn't getting it the other way. The Mom could have been at the end of her rope. Too many variables that aren't known, so I can't condemn her.
